We welcome local resident, Jim Ward, as our current ambassador for “I Love Subiaco”
He is on hand to answer any queries you may have on how you can contribute to – or benefit from – this community orientated campaign.
A former RAF pilot and semi-retired public relations consultant, Jim has lived in Subiaco for more than ten years, but claims that his allegiance to the city actually dates back to 1992 which is, of course, the year in which his beloved Eagles won their first Premiership flag.
Jim’s love for his chosen city is expressed in his recently-published book, “Subiaco in Pictures and Verse” which, he is quick to point out, is not as boring as the title might suggest.
You can form your own opinion by flicking though a copy at Dymocks in Rokeby Road. (Have $20 ready, though, because once you’ve picked it up, you won’t want to put it down.)
If you have any queries or suggestions about “I Love Subiaco”, you can contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org
He’s aiming to answer all queries within 24 hours.
Welcome Aboard Jim
